The white-washed cabinets were raplaced by sleek white cabinets with shaker doors and the quartz and glass tile give this kitchen a modern look. Where the small dinette table used to be we installed a wrap around build-in bench with storage.

Photos taken by Tracy Breshears A contemporary kitchen, open to dining room. We wanted to keep it simple and elegant but functional. Clean lines with a quartz counter top by silestone and glass tile in an aqua hue. The build-in cabinet in dining room is not only a focal point but has lots of good storage.

Photos by Tracy Breshears By moving the door slightly to the right we were able to design a build-in bookcase that no longer blocked the doorway. Our colors flowing through out the house are blues and aquas with white trim. The hardwood floors replaced all the carpet and tile. The geometric fabric on the chair and solid chenille navy sofa are elegant but comfortable.

Photo by Tracy Breshears Replacing the window with a larger opening brings the outside in and fills this room with light. The navy and aqua color palette makes this room inviting and up to date. Thew simple geometric pattern on the side panels frames the window withouth cutting the light. My great find was the small cocktail table which resembles a piece of sculpture.

Photo by Tracy Breshears The dining room opens to the living room and kitchen. The sideboard was custom and painted in a deep gray-blue. The table was custom made as well and we opted for chairs that were not a match to table. The canning brings in another design element while the roman shade was made in yet another pattern. No matchy match was allowed.

Photo by Tracy Breshears The first thing we did was to remove all the old wood panelling and install a skylight. The room went from dark and gloomy to a room filled with light. We opted to keep the used brick fireplace but replaced the store bought ent. piece with a custom wall unit. My client collection of vintage ships art was reframed and installed through out the room.

Photo by Tracy Breshears When a space is so compact but needs to accomodate so many needs: Home office, comfy place to seat and a small TV, the best way to adress it is with custom made furniture that can take advantage of every inch of space. A custom desk with lots of surface and storage was build as well as a custom loveseat and a small ottoman that opens up for extra storage as well.

Photo by Tracy Breshears We changed the color to a peaceful blue and found the perfect fabrics for the custom bedding and headboard. The old closet door were replaced with contemporary sandblasted glass panels with a beautiful bronze accent.

Photo by Tracy Breshears We kept this room elegant. A place where guests can enjoy their stay and feel pampered. Headboard and bedding was custom as were the drapes. The shade in a semi shear fabric softens the window and gives a little privacy when drapes are open during the day.
